The Hills Creek wetlands are part of a larger network that spans across four landowners’ properties, with everyone working together under a single expression of interest (EOI) to restore this important habitat.
At Hills Creek Middle, the landowners had already invested in fencing to exclude stock, our focus was around controlling invasive weeds which included removal and spraying. These combined efforts have helped bring the wetland back to life, improving water quality, supporting biodiversity, and strengthening the wider Hills Creek wetland complex.
